It is the Policy of Katmex Limited to continually provide a safe working environment and ensure the health, safety and well being of all of its employees.
To this end the organisation has implemented and maintains a documented Management System in line with the requirements of OHSAS 18001 which will ensure compliance with all relevant legal and other requirements.
The organisation will continually review its processes and working practices to ensure any hazards and risks present are eliminated or reduced as much as reasonably practicable.
All staff are familiar with the Company Health and Safety Management System which consists of a Management System Manual, Management Procedures and Working Instructions.
Measurable objectives shall be defined with the intention of continually improving the System and enhancing health and safety within Katmex. Processes within the Safety Management System are established, implemented and maintained, performance of the system and any need for improvement will be reported at Monthly Business Plan Review Meetings.
All employees are required to understand, implement and maintain the sections of the organisation’s Management System which relate to their discipline.
The Health and Safety Policy has full support and commitment from all levels within the organisation and shall be reviewed by management, at least annually, for its continual suitability. The company Health and Safety policy is communicated to employees and distributed to interested parties and the public on request.
