Katmex

Established in 1999, Katmex provide high quality steel parts and precision fabrications in to the heavy earthmoving and construction equipment industry around the UK and Europe.

A wide range of engineering services are provided under one roof at our 25,000 square foot facility in the heart of the Tees Valley, in Stockton on Tees.

Oxy fuel cutting, plasma cutting, CNC machining, rolling, bending and fabrication are carried out in line with customer specifications and requirements.

Katmex is committed to working closely with customers to exceed customer expectations and establish long-term partnerships.

Company founded as part of a Joint Venture between Katsushiro Matex, KEISA & Mitsubishi

Katsushiro Matex - 100% ownership

ISO 9001 Certification

Supply to JCB group of companies began

2010

Management buyout agreed due to decision to cease European Manufacturing

2010

Supply to Komatsu Germany commenced

2011

Katmex Holdings acquired the business of Geoffrey Maskell and renamed Katmex Seaham

Awarded by Komatsu UK with supplier of the year

OHSAS 18001 Certification

Awarded supplier of the year by Komatsu UK for the second time
